The Bull Inn is a traditional English Pub at the centre of Cavendish in West Suffolk. Cavendish is a pretty village with thatched cottages, a fine church, a green (every picture-book and calendar has the photo!), and is situated on the north bank of the River Stour.
 
Elaine & Peter Saunders are your new hosts who have spent the last 12 months renovating the Inn's B&B accommodation; we now have 3 well-appointed double bedrooms.
 
In addition we have taken special care with the presentation of freshly cooked meals, be it a quick snack for the passing traveller in a hurry, or a more leisurely 3-course dinner for a celebration. Also, from time to time, we will be featuring 'theme' nights ... exotic country cuisine, or nostalgic earlier decades ... so watch for updated news on this website.
 

 
The Bull, in association with Adnam's of Southwold, keeps a very fine cellar and serves hand-drawn beers in the traditional way. Occasionally we are able to stock guest brewery ales, and of course we have a wide choice of wines and spirits.
 
In the summer months you can sit out on the back terrace, overlooking a large grassy area and orchard where the children can play in safety.
 
We have a loyal following of locals who pop in for a tasty thirst-quencher, and those who travel a little bit further for Sunday Lunch in the country. Why not put Cavendish on your list of places to visit?
